The Faux School of downtown Frederick, Maryland will be having HoneyBee Burlesque on SATURDAY, APRIL 11th.

Doors open at 7:00.

Show starts at 8:00.

This is a 21+ BYOB event.

Our Master of Ceremonies Commodore Bailey will guide you through a fine hour of burlesque as some of the HoneyBee Burlesque performers create an evening full of vivacious entertainment. We strive to please our patrons! We’ve heard your pleas. Some of you work Friday and Saturday nights with evil bosses who won’t let you take a night off to enjoy our saucy entertainment. For folks like you and for those that just can’t get enough of us, we’re starting a new kind of show series!

Tassels & Tea will be held at one of our favorite venues and long time supporters, The Owl Nest. These will be afternoon “mini-shows” featuring four performers and a sampling of teas and treats for your tasting pleasures. Due to the nature of keeping these a more intimate gathering, we will only sell 15 tickets! The first is scheduled and ready to rock in that retro way, featuring Lady Bladie, Honeysuckle Rose, Lipstick Lamarr and Bearcat Betty. Stay tuned for more shows.

Bearcat Betty will be posing again for artists of Frederick on Friday, December 19th. She’ll be dragging Pepper Jack along for twice the modeling fun. This particular event will be FREE, so it is the perfect opportunity to try out what Frederick Figure Drawing group has to offer. Bring your own supplies. Easles are available. Make art!

A taste of the sideshow is just around the corner.

HoneyBee Burlesque will be having another self produced show on Friday, October 10th held at Studio 58 in Frederick. It’s clear that a burlesque show is unique to other types of entertainment in the area. You already know how special and entertaining burlesque is?! Well good. Here’s what make a HoneyBee Burlesque show at Studio 58 even better:

We are helping your community. This will give you talking points to convince your disapproving naive mother why burlesque is saving the world. Just tell her you’re going to a “fundraising event”.

We have more entertainers. More entertainers means a bigger variety. Variety is the spice of life. So are boobs. Boobs are the spice of life.

Our shows last longer. You’re getting twice as much entertainment for the same price.

We have plenty of seating for everyone. You will not have to stand on your aching feet. You will not have to stand on other peoples aching feet. Speaking as a polite short lady, standing room only situations can test your patience, your vision and your tolerance of the human kind. Not here.

We have BYOB. No drink minimum! Your tab for the night can be free if you chose. If you are partaking in the libations, you can bring your favorite on your own budget.
